So far, the Beer Diet has been a huge success. On the first of September, I started with the notion of using my love of beer as an incentive to watch what I eat. Each week I must drop a pound or I give up beer for a week.  The Lose It! app helps monitor my weight. Here are the results:

I’m not sure which is more important to the success of the Beer Diet — fear of missing out on a beer adventure or knowing my readers are following my progress. Regardless, I am happy with the success and look forward to continuing in October. I’ll try to keep steady progress towards reaching 200 lbs — just a little less than 10 lbs to go.
