Philly Beer Week Bound

May 31, 2019 Baltimore, MD

For our annual trek to Philadelphia, we are changing things up. Instead of riding in a comfy Amtrak train, we opted for the less expensive BoltBus. It is bumpy, with cramped seats, and stop and go traffic at times (we are already a half hour late due to congestion. But the WiFi is free (but slow), there’s plenty of plugs for our phones and the AC is deliciously cool.

Craft Beer Reads

Mrs. Adventures and I went to the Baltimore Flower Mart yesterday. The city closes a few blocks of Charles Street around the Washington Monument. There is live music, lectures, food, beer, wine, flowers, and plants. It was fun. I walked away with a mushroom log that I will put in my backyard. If all goes well, I’ll be harvesting white oyster mushrooms this summer. Perhaps there is an oyster mushroom stout homebrew in my future?
