Leap Day Craft Beer Reads

Every 4 years, we get an extra day. What will you do with your extra day? This morning, I went for a long walk – boy it is cold! Winter is still here. I did spot a daffodil in the back yard, though. While your keeping warm and comfortable inside, I suggest you take a moment to read through these craft beer reads.

VinePair, New Study: Feeding Cows Beer Leftovers Helps Fight Climate Change. It looks like drinking beer cuts down on methane in cow farts. It’s nice to know drinking beer helps fight climate change!

ShortList, Umm.. a Japanese brewery has made the first ever cricket-flavoured beer. I think I’ll pass on this one.

The Mad Fermentationist, Why Are Brewing and Winemaking so Different? I occasionally make beer, and Mrs. Adventures has been known to make wine. Mike (the mad fermentationist) has some good points about the differences.

Scott Janish, 2019 Barrel Drop. This sounds delicious, but is it a winey beer or a beery wine?

Cheers!
