Moving Beer Reads

It’s been a busy couple of weeks. My son’s rehab project has been frantic – he moves this weekend.

Displaying my non-handyman skills, I’ve busted up radiators, made trips to the hardware store and whatever else my truck and I can do to help out. This week, we’ll be helping him move into a half finished house. I’m tired already.

Hopefully, you, dear reader, will not be moving this weekend. Instead, prop your feet up and ponder a few craft beer related “reads” that I thought were interesting. Enjoy.

Bustle, What Happens To Your Body When You Stop Drinking During The Week. This is quite depressing but I think I already assumed this. Having a beer with friends is one of my great loves, I can’t imagine giving it up but its good to know the facts.

Baltimore Sun, Independent in Bel Air adds second taproom for sours, barrel-aged beers. Independent is a terrific brewery and their beer is all gluten reduced. Now, with a sour program, a road trip to Harford County is a must.

Baltimore Sun, How Maryland’s Guinness brewery almost didn’t get MTA bus service. The transportation nerd in me had to post this one.

Larry Brown Sports, DC-area brewery makes beer encouraging Dan Snyder to sell Redskins. This one’s for you, Z.

God Save The Keg, Update on the Hefe. Can’t wait to try this one.

Forbes, A Low-Calorie Beer That Knocks Your Socks Off. Oskar Blues has done it again!

Cheers!

Warren
