She calls again. The seductive melodies of the siren sing over and over, promising fulfillment and intoxicating passion.

The lure from this temptress’ silky song again beckons me come to her. Her song is somehow different than before, more exotic perhaps tropical? And again, I succumb to her charms, this time arriving at the Heavy Seas taproom.

The taproom is expanded, with many tables inside, allowing guests to sit inside to sample ales from their taps or food from the Pieces of Eight food truck. I order the Siren Noire Coconut, the whole reason I journeyed to Halethorpe.

Expecting a creamy, tropical tasting version of my old standby, Siren Noire, I was a bit disappointed. Rather, the coconut version reminds me of an Almond Joy, very sweet with dried coconut flavors. NIce try, Heavy Seas, but I’ll stick with the original.
