Siren Noire Release 2019

The magically delicious, Siren Noire, is scheduled to return on November 8th, 3:00 PM at Heavy Seas Brewery in Halethorpe, MD.

I know what I’ll be doing next Friday; I’ll be headed up to Halethorpe to sample some of my favorite chocolate stout at the Heavy Seas Brewery. Besides the tried and true Siren, Hugh Sisson and company will be releasing a coconut version, yum.

Our Siren Noire isn’t your father’s chocolate stout. We’ve used almost three pounds of Belgian coco nibs per barrel. We’ve aged it for five weeks in bourbon barrels with vanilla beans added. A mix of dark malts gives Siren Noire a well-rounded body that is decidedly chocolatey – but without being extraordinarily sweet. Brewers Gold hops contribute an earthy spiciness, with notes of black currant.

Warning: Sampling the Siren has been known to transform you into famous people. For instance, after a few healthy samples of this 9.5% Heavy Seas delicious chocolate stout, I was temporarily converted into author Steven King, but that is a story for another time.

Cheers!
