Memorial Day Weekend Beer Reads

An annual tradition for a few of us is to watch the Blue Angels rehearse before the navy graduation. It’s free and open to the public. Some years friends and I ride bikes into Annapolis, have lunch and watch the terrific air show. This year, we were lazy and drove. The weather was perfect.

Afterward, we stopped in Columbia for pho in Columbia at Pho Dat Thanh. I enjoyed the experience and the food (it’s only my second time tasting pho). The Thai lager, Singha, was sweet and mildly hopped, a good pairing with my meal.

Gear Patrol, 12 Classic IPAs That Still Stand Up Today. This is a very comprehensive list. I notice the omission of Bear Republic’s Racer #5 and my local go to, Heavy Seas Loose Cannon. Do you see IPAs you would add to the list?

VinePair, What’s the Difference Between a Brewer and Brewmaster? Brewhouse Titles, Explained. This explanation answers a few questions I’ve wondered about.

Cheers!
