I just had to get outside on this sunny and warm spring day, so I headed over to Ellicott City to pick up some beer; we are expecting guests over the next few days. I ended up at Allview Liquors (of course) and Dorsey’s Search Wine & Spirits.

As mentioned last week, I am enamored with Duclaw’s Sour Me Unicorn Farts. At Allview Liquors, you have to ask for it but they still have some. Besides the 4-pack of glittery flatulence, I picked up a 4-pack of Founders KBS and a 6-pack of Raven Special Lager. I love the Cal illustrations on the Raven Beers.

Dorsey’s Search Wine & Spirits

This is my first experience at Dorsey’s Search Wine & Spirits. When I asked about craft beer, I was directed to their Build Your Own 6-pack wall. It was too cool to pass up. Each single is individually priced, but if you purchase a complete 6-pack, you get 10% off. I bought a 1623 Irish Stout, a Red Shedman Coconut Porter, 2 True Respites: Blackberry Ginger & Nut Brown Ale and a Manor Hill Hazy Rye IPA.
