Beer Reads

Last night, we shared dinner with friends at The White Oak Tavern in Ellicott City. What a great place, with great food and a fantastic craft beer list! They make a terrific hamburger which paired nicely with a Monument City American Brown Ale.

The bounty of my garden is pouring in right now. I offered a tromboncino (an Italian squash) and a tomato to our friends that drove to White Oak.

I can’t give each of you my garden produce; instead, I’m serving up a few links to the craft beer world. Enjoy.

Today, Columbia’s very own, Hysteria Brewing, celebrates its 1st year anniversary from 11:00 am-11:59 pm. Click here for details from their Facebook page.

Chris Sands of the FNP Podcasts helps keep me up-to-date on local craft beer news, especially around Frederick, MD. His latest video about Adroit Theory Brewing is quite entertaining.

Although this is probably not a craft beer, enjoy watching this Cub fan chug a beer after catching a foul ball with his cup.

Finally, learn about Frühschoppen: The German Tradition Of Drinking Before Noon.

Cheers!
