Beer Reads

The weekend started off with a visit to the Guinness Brewery in Maryland. It is huge and on this opening day, crowded.

To help you enjoy the rest of the weekend, I’ve collected a few craft beer articles to read when you get a quiet moment.

The Sun has an article about visiting Guinness and it’s grand opening in Baltimore.

Vinepair has compiled a list of the world’s oldest breweries. Reading this just makes me dream of faraway places.

For this next article, I just realized I’ve been spelling grisette wrong for quite some time – it only has 1 “s” but I’ve been using two. Anyway, I’ve fallen in love with Manor Hill’s Grisette even if I can’t spell it. Apparently, brewers around the county have embraced this Belgian-style beer, as well.

A few years back, I visited the Craft Conundrum in Charleston, SC and got a lesson in what dirty glasses do to the beer drinking experience. Beer & Brewing Magazine says Don’t put good beer in a dirty glass.

Cheers!
