Saturday Beer Reads

Yay! It’s another weekend! Relax, have a cold beverage and take a moment to reflect on what’s happening in your world. I’ve found some beer related news just for you.

First, here’s some Maryland news. Frisco Tap House‘s Wednesday, June 21st,  Pint Night brewer is the Atlanta brewery, SweetWater. SweetWater has been in the news. Also, Hysteria Brewing Company of Columbia is finally opening! Read about Hysteria’s grand opening on July 1st. Also, Maryland’s largest brewery, Flying Dog, will open the Flying Dog Tap House restaurant in BWI.

Apparently, beer is actually good for you. James Moore gives you the UK’s perspective on getting fit with beer.

Just the title makes this one worth a read: America’s standard, bland beer is slowly being replaced by the weird stuff.

I had a very interesting conversation with a beer distributor the other day; he thinks there are too many breweries. This article, Craft beer’s big impact on small towns and forgotten neighborhoods, might change his mind.

Despite my daughter’s threat to celebrate Father’s Day the Australian way, on September 3rd;  Father’s Day is this Sunday, June 18, 2017. I don’t think my kids read this blog, but if they did, here are Six Awesome Beer Gifts for Father’s Day.

Happy Father’s Day to all you dads out there! Cheers!
