Early Sunday morning (January 6th) tragedy struck Hysteria Brewing Co. A vandal broke the windows of their van and keyed it, broke a tap room window, stole a hop planter and tried to damage the front door. If that’s not bad enough, they also destroyed the critical glycol unit resulting in having to dump 4 beers in their fermenters, including Trash Panda. Continue reading Sad Panda
The 2019 New Year finds us with a government shutdown, discarded Christmas trees, bored consumers, wildfire victims, Sapwood Cellars (yea!), and buttery flavored beer. Fortunately, craft beer has answers to all these problems. Read on.

For New Year’s Eve, Mrs. Adventures and I attended 2 parties. It was fun to see old friends and make some new ones. Although most of my old friends were of the flesh and blood variety, 2 were liquid and came in a bottle – Ommegang Hennepin (farmhouse) and Sam Smith Winter Welcome (English Ale). Both are classics of their style which I enjoyed
